BATC, EDB cooperation discussed

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Bahrain Asian Traders Committee (BATC) headed by deputy treasurer Mohammed Sajid met Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB)'s CEO Khalid Al Rumaihi. The two sides discussed cooperation in organizing the committee’s forthcoming event "Bahrain a Gateway to the Arabian Gulf". During the meeting, Sajid commended the EDB's prominent role in empowering the private sector and spurring the national economy. He revealed details of the event the committee plans to hold, which aims to promote the business environment of Bahrain and attract further foreign investments. From his side, Al Rumaihi hailed the role of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and welcomed cooperation with BATC in holding the event, stressing the importance of integrating efforts to reinforce the national economy.
