Minister congratulates leadership on HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad's accomplishment

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Youth and Sports Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder congratulated the kingdom's leadership on the occasion of HM King's Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs also Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)s' President HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa winning the International Triathlon Union (ITU)'s second position title in Abu Dhabi. He considered the feat a coronation for Bahrain and all of its athletes added to the series of accomplishments in various sports arenas, especially in the triathlon championships that reflected the leadership's patronage and encouragement of the sports movement and all Bahraini sportspeople who oftentimes succeeded in hoisting the national flag at various international functions. The minister commended the accomplishments of the Bahraini team and the National Guard team who capably and persistently participated in the ITU's championship , wishing them more successes in upcoming sports events.
