Foreign minister meets Saudi, Egyptian counterparts

Jakarta, Mar. 7 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Adel Al-Jubeir. During the meeting on the sidelines of the Fifth extraordinary Session of the Islamic Summit Conference on the Palestinian State and the Holy City of Jerusalem, recently held in Jakarta, Indonesia, they reviewed the strong historic bilateral relations and the issue tabled for discussion on the agenda of the 138th Session of the GCC Ministerial Council on March 9. They also discussed the issues listed on the agenda of the 145th Ministerial-level Ordinary Session of the Arab League on March 10 and exchanged views on the mechanisms and procedures resulting from the GCC classification of Hezbollah as a terrorist organization. The meeting also touched on the interference of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the internal affairs of the Arab countries and how to put an end to such meddling in addition to issues of common concern. Shaikh Khalid also met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, and reviewed the strong bilateral ties and issues on the agenda of the 145th ministerial-level ordinary session of the Arab League on March 10. The meeting touched on the latest developments and issues of common concern.
