Moroccan, Indonesian parliamentary delegations wrap up visits

Manama, Mar 8 (BNA): A Moroccan parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Rachid Talbi Alami has wrapped up an official visit to Bahrain at the invitation of Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla. The Moroccan delegation met with the wise leadership and a number of state officials, during which held talks on topics of joint interest. The delegation also met with Parliament Speaker and MPs and closely learned about Bahrain's parliamentary experience. It also visited a number of state institutions and discussed local and Arab issues. The delegation expressed sincere thanks to Parliament Speaker for the invitation and wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity. Indonesian parliamentary delegation also concluded a four-day visit, during which held meetings with Parliament Speaker, Joint Parliamentary Friendship Committee and Labour Minister. It also conducted visits to Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alba and Labour Market Regulatory Authority, and discussed joint interest. The Indonesian delegation's visit aimed to know about Bahrain's legislative process and exchange of expertise, as well as boosting bilateral relations in various areas.
