GCC Jobs and Professions Exhibition proposal discussed

Manama, Mar 9 (BNA): Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan yesterday received Secretary General of the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC), Abdurahim Naqi. Member of GCC Supreme Council Advisory Board, Saeed Kadhim, also attended. An FGCCC's proposal to hold GCC Jobs and Professions Exhibition was discussed. The proposal aims to encourage and facilitate the transfer of national manpower to work in the Gulf labour markets and to equally enjoy the benefits offered to the Gulf national manpower in their countries. The minister welcomed the FGCCC efforts in encouraging the private sector to employ Gulf manpower to contribute to enhancing GCC economies. He noted the Gulf manpower's competence and efficiency acquired thanks to vocational training policies adopted for the rehabilitation of the national cadres to enable them to compete in the private sector. Naqi pointed Bahrain's contributions to reinforcing the joint Gulf action, affirming FGCCC's keenness to enhance cooperation among GCC governments to attain aspirations of Gulf leaders.
