Justice Ministry launches programme

Manama, Mar.9 (BNA): Assistant Undersecretary for Statistics, Planning and Communication at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Dana Al Zayani has announced the launch of the first phase of the training programme on advanced electronic system to implement procedures and electronic services, in coordination with the Informatics and eGovernment Authority. Al Zayani said that the first phase started on March 6 and it included 120 judges, lawyers and employees at the Execution Directorate and it is scheduled to finish within a week, then the second phase starts and it will include the rest of lawyers. She said that a large number of lawyers registered in the programme which reflects the importance of the digital transformation at ministry's various services within its strategy, in cooperation and coordination with the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) in order to reduce the time of processing transactions and total cost and facilitate integration among directorates. She pointed out that the digital transformation contributes to the achievement of more development strategic goals and offers e-services to individuals and lawyers, in line with the strategy of the justice affairs sector. Execution directorate's advanced procedures includes the single window concept so as to complete all the procedures and reduce the number of steps to benefit from services.
