Bahrain takes part in ITB Berlin

Berlin, Mar. 12 (BNA): A large number of visitors and world companies have visited the Bahrain pavilion at the Internationale Tourismus-Borse Berlin (ITB Berlin) to explore investment opportunities in the kingdom and sign deals with their Bahraini counterparts to organise tourism visits to kingdom. More than 180 countries are participating in ITB, the world’s leading travel trade show, held here from March 9 to 13, to promote tourism, highlight available opportunities and streamline flights. Bahrain’s Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani held meetings with several officials from GCC, Arab and foreign countries, as well representatives of world tourism companies and organisation and discusses with them the available investment opportunities and the tourism market in the kingdom. In this regard, the minister met the Sri Lankan Tourism Minister John Amaratunga, and discussed with him ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the tourism field. They also reviewed issues of common interest.
