Nasser bin Hamad receives ambassadors

Manama, Mar. 13 (BNA): HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation Board of Trustees received several ambassadors of Arab states to the Kingdom of Bahrain headed by HE Shaikh Azzam Al Mubarak Al Sabah the Ambassador of the brotherly State of Kuwait. In the meeting, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the ambassadors. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa lauded the visit of the ambassadors to the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) and the initiatives of Shaikh Azzam Al Mubarak Al Sabah to support the programmes of the organisation. He asserted that the support and directives of His Majesty the King to RCO have enabled it to achieve many local and international accomplishments, citing Bahrain's ranking the first Arab and GCC country and the 13th globally in Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)'s World Giving Index2015, which included data from 145 countries across the globe over a five-year period (2010-2014). The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador Abdullah Abdulatif, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, International Affairs Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Ambassador Dr. Dhafir Al Umran, Assistant Undersecretary of GCC and Foreign States’ Relations and HE Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, Regional and GCC Affairs Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mostafa Al Sayed, General Secretary of RCO, welcomed the ambassador and briefed them about the recent works and projects of the organisation implemented under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, supported by the government, chaired by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, and backed by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa for the Foreign Ministry's great support to RCO. The Kuwaiti Ambassador spoke on behalf of the ambassadors, and praised the works of the organisation which is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supervised by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
