Alba attends Jr. NBA Manama League kick-off

Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, underlined its commitment to team sports amongst the youth of the Kingdom by attending the first round of Jr. NBA Manama League games on Friday, March 11, 2016. Commenting on the kick-off of the League’s first season, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray said: "As one of the flagship organisations in Bahrain, we believe that sporting activities add value to the community. We thank the members of Manama Sports Club and Global Coach and for the formation of this new basketball league in Bahrain." The ‘Jr. NBA Manama League’ is a newly-formed club-based basketball league between the Manama Sports Club, Kingdom of Bahrain and the National Basketball Association (NBA), US. The Jr. NBA Manama League is the first league of its kind in the Middle East for boys aged 12 to 15.
