Two arrested for narcotic possession

Manama, Mar 16 (BNA): Anti-narcotic police have arrested an Arab national and a Bahraini on charges of possession of 400 grams marijuana, 118 grams cocaine and approximately 500 grams hashish, with an estimated value of BD61 thousand, Director General of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Evidence stated. He explained that the initial investigation led to an individual who possessed narcotic with the intention of selling and taking it. The suspect was identified as an Arab national. He was caught red-handed as he was selling the narcotic. He confessed that a Bahraini national supplied him with the narcotic substance. The Bahraini individual was arrested at his residence where an amount of cash and other types of narcotic were also found. Director-General of Criminal Investigations added that legal procedures were taken and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
