14th Gulf Radio, Television Festival concludes

08 : 24 PM - 18/03/2016 Manama, Mar. 18 (BNA): The 14th edition of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival concluded here last night in the presence of a number of officials and a host of GCC and Arab artists. Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi , the festival’s chairman, attended the concluding ceremony which held at the University of Bahrain. Jury committees President Ali Yussef Al-Hammadi thanked Bahrain for hosting the festival and ensuring its success. He also commended the efforts of the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) and the Gulf Radio and Television Corporation (GRTC) in this regard. He affirmed that the arbitration process was conducted transparently thanks to the electronic system, noting that the jury examined the 314 works according to the highest professional and technical standards. Then, the winners were announced and honoured alongside members of the jury, patrons and sponsors.
