Muharraq Municipal Council plans career expo

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): Muharraq Municipal Council is planning to hold a career expo to help recruit job-seekers in the city and neighbouring areas. Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received Muharraq Municipal Council Chairman Mohammed Abdulla Al-Sinan and discussed details of the initiative. The council intends to organize the expo in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development as part of community partnership to promote employment. The minister stressed the importance of community partnerships in integrating the national workforce into the private sector, commending the initiative of the council which supports the ministry-led efforts to employ job-seekers. Al-Sinan also commended the ministry for supporting the planned organization of the career expo in Muharraq, hailing its dedicated efforts to reduce unemployment and pass labour legislations that aim to ensure the growth and stability of the labour market.
