Bahraini-Jordanian parliamentary cooperation discussed

Manama, March 20 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla received today Jordanian Senate Chairman Faisal Akef Fayez and his accompanying delegation. He stressed the outstanding deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and Jordan and both countries' keenness to further bolster them. He also underlined Bahrain's unwavering stance in supporting Jordan's security and stability as well as its key role in maintaining Arab cohesion. He pointed out keenness to further bolster bilateral cooperation mainly in the parliamentary field. On his part, the Jordanian Senate Chairman thanked the Representatives Council Speaker for the meeting and for his keenness to further cement deep-rooted historic ties between both countries. The meeting was attended by Representatives Council First Deputy Speaker Ali Al Aradi and members Abbas Al Madhi, Adel Al Assoumi, Ghazi Al Rahma, Dr. Abdulmajid Al Asfoor and Hamad Al Dussari.
