Interior minister receives Jordanian Senate chairman

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received here today the Jordanian Senate Chairman Faisal Akef Fayez and his accompanied delegation . The meeting was attended by Shura Council member, Hamad Mubarak Al Nuaimi and Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Ali Siraj. The minister welcomed the guests, hailing the deep brotherly and strategic ties between the two countries that have been reinforced in the eras of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan . The meeting reviewed bilateral ties and cooperation horizons, in addition to topics of common interest. The Jordanian official asserted the support of the Jordanian Senate to Bahrain, hailing the country’s democratic achievements and reform project.
