Foreign Minister receives call from Russian counterpart

Manama, March 22 (BNA): Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received a telephone call from his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in the framework of the follow-up and implementation of the issues that were agreed on during the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Sochi city, in Russia, and the meeting he held with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two Foreign Ministers discussed outstanding and historic bilateral relations and means to further bolster cooperation between the two friendly countries regarding regional and international issues in order to promote regional peace and security.
