Parliament Affairs minister receives JUI president

Manama, Mar.23 (BNA): Minister of Parliament Affairs Ghanim bin Fadhl Al Buainain has underscored the importance of religious co-existence in order to achieve human values and pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a model in this area thanks to the leadership's directives. Al Buainain received here today Pakistani President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Assembly of Islamic Clergy, or JUI) MP Maulana Fazl Ur Rehman, currently on a visit to Bahrain, in the presence of Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Religious Co-existence President Youssef Buzaboon. They reviewed Bahrain's efforts at promoting Islamic moderation tolerance and co-existence. Al Buainain highlighted the role played by the Pakistani scholars at disseminating tolerance and moderation. MP Maulana Fazl Ur Rehman lauded the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to foster those values and affirmed that the world needs them to face extremism.
