Minju Joson Slams Japan's Moves to Deny Hideous Crimes against Humanity

Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- The UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women recently revealed that an "agreement" on the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army between Japan and south Korea adopted in December last year was not for the sake of the victims and strongly urged the Japanese reactionaries to stop of the issuing of statements and remarks and acts aimed to evade Japan's responsibility for the past crimes. Minju Joson Thursday in a commentary dismisses this as the due warning and severe rebuke of the international community against Japan which is working hard to evade the blame for the hideous crimes against humanity. It goes on: The sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army was not an incidental occurrence by individual soldiers but the most brutal hideous crimes committed against humanity in an organized way with the active involvement of Japan, the evil empire. The Japanese reactionaries should lend an ear to the voices of the international community and opt to make a sincere apology and reparation, not getting hell-bent on denying the hideous crimes against humanity. -0-
