"This the Arabian Gulf" to be launched in Rome on May 27

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): The strenuous efforts of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to combat terrorism and extremism will come under the spotlight in Italy.
A three-day roadshow will be launched in Rome on May 27 to highlight the values of amity, peace coexistence and respect of religions and cultures which mark Arabian Gulf societies.
Themed "This is the Arabian Gulf", the campaign will underscore the strenuous efforts of the GCC member states to combat terrorism, extremism, hatred and bigotry.
The organizers of the roadshow have lined-up visits to the Vatican and the Islamic centres, in addition to workshops.
Organising committee member Fawziya Zainal said that an exhibition themed "This is the Arabian Gulf" will also be held on sidelines.
Addressing a press conference in Manama, she said that the exhibition will feature pavilions that showcase dozens of non-governmental and private enterprises.
High-level religious and economic figures representing the GCC countries will take part in a major forum, focusing on products that reflect Gulf people’ deep-rooted.
"This is the Arabian Gulf" builds on the successful "This Is Bahrain", a series of international roadshows which were held in London, Berlin, Brussels, Paris, New York and Washington, showcasing the Kingdom’s strides in the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
