Licence withdrawn from Bahraini who totaled 20 penalty points

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): General Director of Traffic Shaikh Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa announced on Saturday that the department for the first time has withdrawn the licence of a Bahraini driver after totaling 20 penalty points. Five were registered for organising unauthorized race on a public road. As he repeated the same violation in less than a year the points doubled from 10 to 20 and his licence was withdrawn for 3 months in accordance to the article 4 of the traffic law. He called upon road users to follow traffic rules to avoid legal accountability, while highlighting that drivers should check points on them through the e-traffic services through the e-government.
