Bahrain welcomes Arab investments

Manama, Mar 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received a delegation from Arab Women Investors Union (AWIU) led by Dr. Huda Jalal Yassi. Dr. Yassi invited HRH Premier to patronize the Arab-African initiative to support the economic bloc, hailing him as an Arab leader and master of Arab economic and social development. HRH Prime Minister stressed the government support for all initiatives to promote trade and investment sectors, and strengthen Arab cooperation, chiefly in economic and investment sectors. HRH Prime Minister emphasized Bahrain's efforts in uplifting the status of women and empowering them politically, economically and socially, as a strategic partner in the development and modernization process taking place in Bahrain. HRH Prime Minister highlighted that the development process will firmly continue for better present and future of Bahrain and its future generations. HRH Prime Minister praised the efforts of Bahraini women in promoting the national economy and development march, welcoming cooperation with AWIU initiatives aimed for boosting the role of women in the development process. He lauded the AWIU efforts in the field of women's empowerment and their active participation in sharing the leadership of Arab economic and investment sectors.
