Bahrain's efforts in HR development praised

Manama, Mar. 30 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan visited the Bahrain-based Executive Office of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Council Labour Ministers and Council of Social Affairs Ministers, accompanied with ministry undersecretaries and assistant undersecretaries. The minister's visit comes as par to bolstering the close ties between the ministry and the executive office wherein he was received by the Executive Office's general director Amir Al Hejri and senior officials. Humaidan affirmed the ministry's keenness and care for boosting and supporting the executive office work emanating from the belief in the importance of its coordinative role in serving the goals of human resources development (HR) in all aspects of labour and social affairs in in line with directives of Their Majesties and Their Highness the GCC leaders to achieve the mutual interest of the GCC-member countries and the welfare and aspirations of citizens. For his part, the Executive Office's general director lauded the close ties between the ministry and the executive office and expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the minister's directives, efforts and caring for the matters of the Executive Office and its staff, which reflect positively on them.
