Foreign minister receives author

Manama, Mar. 31 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received today Bahraini author Amir Al Baqali who presented him with a copy of his book "The Brave Step". The minister praised the author’s efforts in writing this valuable publication, which documents the vital role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, in the foundation of the Formula 1 culture in the Middle East region through the establishment of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and the hosting of the Formula 1 race since 2004. Shaikh Khalid wished the author further success and beneficial publications that document the Kingdom’s achievements in various fields, to be inspirational to new generations to exert efforts for further national accomplishments. The author expressed his thanks and appreciation to the minister for his keenness to support and encourage authors as well as his pleasure for the praise he received on the publication, which he said will be an incentive to exert further efforts.
