Kuwaiti ambassador: F 1 reflects Bahrain's bright civilised image

Manama, Apr. 2 (BNA): Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah has affirmed that the Bahrain F 1 Grand Prix highlights the Kingdom’s bright and civilised image. Bahrain’s hosting of such successful race since 2004 until proves its pioneering leadership and excellence in organising such international forums and tournaments, he said in a statement while attending the opening of F 1 events here. Shaikh Azzam asserted that massive media coverage of such a tournament has affirms that Bahrain is a stable country in terms of economy and security thanks to its leadership. The 2016 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix kicked off here last night. Two practice sessions were held yesterday, a free practice and the qualifying sessions will be held today. The final and main race will be held tomorrow night.
