HM King receives letter from Saudi monarch

Manama, April 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a letter from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud including an invitation to attend a summit between the GCC leaders and the US President Barrack Obama in Riyadh this month. The letter was handed over by Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Malik Al Shaikh during a meeting with HM the King today. HM the King thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the invitation, stressing deep-rooted fraternal relations and cooperation between both countries. He praised the efforts of King Salman in serving the GCC issues as well as his pioneering initiatives to boost regional and global security, stability and development. HM the King lauded the leading role of Saudi Arabia in promoting the GCC march and bringing about further achievements, wishing the prospective summit every success.
