HM King hails brave BDF affiliates

Manama, Apr. 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, received a group of officers and servicemen marking their safe return to Bahrain from Yemen after performing their noble humanitarian duties. Present were Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Royal Guard Commander Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. HM the King bestowed on the brave officers and servicemen decorations in recognition of their dedication in assuming their duties, thanking them for their noble humanitarian services during their participation alongside the Saudi-led Arab Alliance – Operation Restore Hope. HM the King hailed their achievements and contribution to the relief aid operations, an endeavour which, he said, stems from authentic Bahraini traditions in reaching out to people in dire need. He commended them for honoring their country, wishing all brave BDF affiliates every success in assuming their duties. Also present were The Minister of Defence Affairs and the BDF Chief of Staff.
