SJC chairman receives Jordanian Constitutional Court's chairman

Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA): The Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC)'s Chairman and Chairman of the Court of Cassation, Chancellor Salem bin Mohammed Al Kuwari, received Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Bahrain accompanied with the Chairman of the Jordanian Constitutional Court Chancellor Taher Hekmat who is currently visiting the kingdom as part of the bilateral cooperation ties. Chancellor Al Kuwari cited the two countries' bilateral cooperation and similar laws and constitution. The Chairman of the Jordanian Constitutional Court's visit comes to reaffirm the bonds of cooperation in all judicial aspects in general and to exchange viewpoints relating to the judicial field, according to Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. Chancellor Taher Hekmat said his visit is primarily a friendly visit and aims to view and explore mutual issues of concern to the constitutional and general courts and to view latest development pertaining to prompt justice and reaching a common understanding for all issues fronting the judicial authorities including transformations in the judicial authorities work performance.
