Jordanian Constitutional Court President visits museum

Manama, April 4 (BNA): President of the Jordanian Constitutional Court Chancellor Taher Hikmat and his accompanying delegation visited today Bahrain National Museum, alongside the President of Bahrain Constitutional Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa. The delegation toured the museum's sections and were briefed about the inherent Bahraini heritage depicted by the customs and traditions hall. They also visited the national theatre overlooking the coast and lauded the traditional Bahraini architecture. The Jordanian Constitutional Court President commended the care given by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) to the archaeology and heritage sector, praising cultural development in Bahrain as well as the kingdom's hosting of the 17th edition of Bahrain International Book Fair in which Jordan was a guest of honour.
