King receives WJC President

Manama, Apr. 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today received the World Jewish Congress (WJC) President Ronald Lauder. HM the King welcomed Lauder and discussed with him key issues which contribute to consolidating global security, stability and peace for the sake of all peoples in the world. HM the King underlined Bahrain's initiatives and conferences which promote rapprochement between different religions and doctrines to the good of all humanity. He underlined Bahrain's decades-long standing as a crossroad for world civilizations and a beacon which brought all religions in one country. "The people of Bahrain has been all along its deep-rooted history known for its tolerance, amity and hospitality, embracing the followers of other religions", HM the King said, commending Bahraini's civilized mindset, firm belief in human principles and keenness on reaching to all people in a closely-knit and fraternal society.
