ASRY signs deal with Gulf Turbo

By Farishta Saeed Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA): ASRY has signed a Specialised Services Agreement with Gulf Turbo which will allow them take a permanent presence at the yard. Gulf Turbo is a specialist in the repair and reconditioning of all models and types of turbochargers and has offices in Singapore, UAE, Oman and Bahrain. The company's service station in ASRY will be equipped with the latest technology required for overhaul, balancing, re-blading and repair of all types of turbochargers. “The specialised services agreements we sign with specialists such as Gulf Turbo are designed to bring direct benefits such as technical expertise and authorised warranties to our customers. This is the essence of Project Jupiter, satisfaction," ASRY's Chief Executive, Nils Kristian Berge. Gulf Turbo's Managing Director Easwaran Iyer said: “Gulf Turbo is an ISO certified company and is the Authorised Repair Agents for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for MET Turbochargers. Our engineers and technicians are trained in Germany, South Korea and Japan and formerly worked with the turbocharger makers. Gulf Turbo's services and spare parts carry the same period of warranty as offered by the Turbocharger makers.
