Ombudsman receives EU delegation

Manama, April 5 (BNA): Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al-Ma'awda received in his office today a technical delegation from the European Union. He hailed their visit to Bahrain, lauding ongoing cooperation with the EU institutions in order to avail of international experiences. He also briefed them on the specialties of the Ombudsman's office and its role in boosting human rights mainly in the field of police work. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ombudsman Osama Ahmed Al-Asfoor and Director of International Cooperation and Development Ghada Hamid Habib.
