Human rights cooperation reviewed

Manama, Apr 5 (BNA): National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) President Dr. Abdulaziz Abul has received a delegation from the European External Action Service led by Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Riyadh, Adam Kolakh. NIHR President gave an brief overview of the NIHR role in protecting human rights, and its efforts in strengthening national capacities operating in the field of human rights. The EU delegation praised the NIHR role in bolstering and protecting human rights, stressing readiness to provide training experts to stage workshops and training courses in human rights area. Ways to strengthen cooperation in the protection of human rights were also discussed. MJ
