Stepping up Bahraini-German economic, investment cooperation welcomed

Manama, Apr 5 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and industry (BCCI), Khalid Al-Zayani, has received a business delegation from the Euro-Mediterranean and Arab Association for Economic Cooperation (EMA) led by President Christian Wulff. BCCI First Deputy Chairman expressed keenness to uplift Bahraini-German economic, trade and investment relations. He stressed the need to open new horizons of investment, noting the various investment opportunities available in Bahrain. He invited German businessmen to invest in trade and industrial sectors in Bahrain, highlighting the facilitations and benefits available for foreign investors. The German delegation lauded the civilizational and economic renaissance witnessed by Bahrain, underlining enthusiasm for starting new cooperation relations and partnerships with Arab countries, chiefly Bahrain, for the investment facilitations and benefits provided by the government. The delegation expressed Germany's interest in broadening economic and investment cooperation with Bahrain. The German delegation also held a number of meetings with representatives from the Bahraini private sector on reviewing investment opportunities available.
