Interior Ministry Undersecretary meets EU delegation

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Interior Ministry Undersecretary Major-General Khalid Salem Al-Absi received today a technical delegation from the European Union, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary of Legal Affairs Major-General Mohammed Rashid Buhamood. The Undersecretary welcomed the delegation for the visit that is part of interaction with international organisations. The modernisation of security sectors to promote human rights was highlighted, including the human rights diploma at the Royal Academy of Police (RAP). The meeting also discussed topics of common interest. The meeting was also attended by the General Director of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science and Commander of the Officer Training College at RAP.
