HM the King issues decrees 22, 23/2016

Manama, Apr. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Decree 22/2016, re-structuring the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister (OFDPM). According to the decree, the First Deputy Prime Minister is responsible for the Director-General of the OFDPM. The OFDPM Director-General, with the rank of Undersecretary, is in charge of the Directorate of the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister, the General Coordinator for Projects and Strategic Planning, the General Coordinator for Studies and Research, and the General Coordinator for Media and Communication. The Projects Directorate and the Strategic Planning Directorate reports to the General Coordinator for Projects and Strategic Planning, ranked Undersecretary. The Research Directorate, the Studies Directorate and the Coordination and Follow-up Directorate report to the General Coordinator for Studies and Research, who holds the rank of Undersecretary. The General Coordinator for Media and Communication is responsible for the Media Directorate and the Communication Directorate. HM King Hamad issued Decree 23/2016, appointing Shaikh Khalid bin Humood bin Abdulla Al Khalifa as Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Authority for Tourism and Exhibitions.
