Leadership congratulated by Shura Council chairman

Manama, Apr. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable from the Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh on the election of Bahrain as member of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) and UN Women Executive Board. Al Saleh extended sincere congratulations to HM King Hamad on the landmark achievement, describing the exploit as an honourable accomplishment that adds to Bahraini women's rich record of local and international achievements. He asserted that such an achievement is a global recognition of the advanced status of Bahraini women, who, he said, confirmed their ability to assume responsibilities in all positions and international gatherings. The Shura Council Chairman prayed to Allah Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant good and happiness and guide him on the right path for the best interests of the Kingdom and its people.
