Bahrain hosts GCC Ministerial Council Coordination meeting

Manama, Apr 7 (BNA): The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Council’s Coordination Meeting was held in Manama with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. The meeting reviewed the implementation mechanism of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on enhancing the march of the GCC joint action. The meeting also discussed the topics on the agenda of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, in preparation for the upcoming summit of their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC States, due to be held in Riyadh on April 21st, 2016. In addition, the meeting discussed the regional and international issues of common interest including means to counter terrorism.
