Bahrain-US military cooperation reviewed

Manama, Apr. 11 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today, in the presence of the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Navy for International Programmes Rear Admiral James Shannon, currently on a visit to the kingdom. The BDF commander-in-chief welcomed Rear Admiral James Shannon and his accompanying delegation, and reviewed with them relations of cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and the USA, as well as issues of mutual concern. Acting Director of the BDF General Command's Court Major-General Hassan Mohammed Sa'ad, Inspector-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi and Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah.
