Saudi Health Relief Efforts for Palestinians Highlighted 4 Riyadh
The fifth medevac aircraft landed in Riyadh Airbase on 11/01/1430
coming from Al-Areesh Airport carrying eight critical cases for
treatment in Riyadh hospitals.
The sixth plane landed in Riyadh Airbase on 14/01/1430 carrying
seven critical cases that cannot be treated in Gaza, and for
humanitarian considerations, they were transported to Saudi Arabia
for treatment. Thus, the total injured Palestinians transported to
Saudi Arabia amounted to 50 patients.
The Saudi relief airlift ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for transporting injured
Palestinians and medical and therapeutic aid included 15 aircraft
each carrying a relief consignment totaling about 140 tons of
medicines, miscellaneous medical supplies, medical and non-medical
gloves, gauze, cotton and intravenous fluids.
These shipments were promptly unloaded on trucks heading for Rafah border outlet in addition to volunteer loaders and donated carrier trucks.
Saudi Arabia kicked off a land relief convoy including all forms of
medical and food support to Palestinians including 50 trucks loaded
with foodstuff and medicines. The first land lift consists of 15
trucks carrying 30 equipped ambulances,13 trucks of foodstuff, seven
trucks of milk, three of rice, two trucks of flour, two of dates, one
of edible oil, and two of new clothes, covers and blankets.
