US Ambassador commends women empowerment efforts

Manama, Apr 11 (BNA): The American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham) has organised a ceremony to honor Bahraini women winners in the field of business in the Middle East and North Africa. The ceremony was attended by US Ambassador to Bahrain, William Roebuck, AmCham Chairman Qais Al-Zoubi, a number of members of both sides, as well as media figures. The US Ambassador, in a statement to Bahrain News Agency, praised the support of the wife of HM the King, President of the Supreme Council for women, HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa for the Bahraini women and her efforts in women empowerment area to achieve their aspirations to become active partners in the development march witnessed by the Bahraini community.
