St. Petersburg Governor to visit Bahrain

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has announced that a high profile Russian delegation led by Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko is set to pay a visit to Bahrain from April 24 to 27. The delegation comprises 50 figures from the public sector as well as representatives of private companies and institutions to discuss ways of further activating a memo of cooperation signed during His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's visit to Russia in April 2014. The Memorandum aims to bolster cooperation in various fields. The Capital Governor said the Russian delegation's visit, which is in response to a visit by a Bahraini delegation to St. Petersburg in October 2015, aims to further bolster bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of a constructive policy based on friendship and mutual respect.
