Labour minister receives Pakistani ambassador

Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, today received the recently-appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Javed Malik, wishing him success in his ambassadorial duties and reviewed with him the bilateral ties in various fields, especially pertaining to labour and social affairs. The minister briefed the ambassador on the ministry's ongoing employment and community welfare projects and programmes. The ambassador praised the advanced level of the bilateral relations, citing the kingdom's prominent international position by virtue of its advancement in all fields, and expressing his country's desire to bolster the cooperation in relations all fields, particularly in the labour and social development fields.
