BDF General Command: We are ready to confront terror groups

Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has issued the following statement: In the name of God, the Most merciful, the Most Compassionate "Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people." (Quran; Verse 14 – Chapter Taubah) "The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) presents its sincere condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, may God protect him, to the Ministry of Interior and to the family of the policeman Mohammed Tanweer who fell in the line of duty as a result of a heinous terrorist attack. "The General Command prays to God Almighty to grant the soul of the fallen policeman mercy and eternal peace and to the injured security men a speedy recovery. "The General Command declares that it is fully aware of such acts of terrorism and criminal schemes against the stability and security of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by the heads of sedition and evil who plot and incite with support from abroad, and carried out by criminal hands conspiring against the nation and citizens. They will all be brought to justice and the laws will be fully applied. "With the help of God, the BDF stands ready to respond to the terrorist groups who target security patrols and police officers carrying out their duty to maintain security. The BDF is equally ready to deal firmly and with determination with these sedition groups and their heads. "God has protected this nation since its establishment and He will protect it with His might. He will provide the leadership and the loyal men with His support and power under the leadership of His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander, may God protect him."
