Nasser bin Hamad attends 2nd RCO Forum

Manama, Apr. 18(BNA): Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Board of Directors, the organisation held the second edition of its forum titled "Basmat Ataa" at the Sofitel Hotel, Zallaq.
At the forum, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa signed an agreement to build Um Nasser (the mother of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa) Kindergarten at the Southern Governorate. The project comes within the kindergartens projects that are implemented by RCO. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa officially launched the RCO website.
On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his constant care of orphans in the Kingdom of Bahrain and providing them with the appropriate environment and decent living.
He also lauded HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for their generous support.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that RCO represents giving, hope, peace and humanity that are planted by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Honorary President of RCO.
He pointed out the care of His Majesty the King to the people under the care of the organisation and His Majesty’s keenness on providing them with all the social, educational, health and humanitarian needs.
The forum comes in line with the celebrations of the Arab Orphans Day. It sheds light on the experiences in charity and humanitarian work as well as successful experiences in the GCC countries, such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. RCO Deputy President Shaikh Adnan Al Qattan and Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed were also present at function.
