Premier sends condolences to Japanese leaders

Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to Emperor Akihito of Japan on the victims of the earthquake which struck the Island of Kyushu in Southwestern Japan, leaving many people dead and wounded. HRH the Premier extended deepest condolences to Emperor Akihito, the bereaved families and the friendly Japanese people, wishing the injured quick recovery. He sent a similar cable of condolences to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
