SJC chairman receives Turkish ambassador

Manama, Apr. 19 (BNA): The Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC)'s Chairman, Chancellor Salem bin Mohammed Al Kuwari the Chairman of the Court of Cassation, received the Ambassador of Turkish Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hatun Demirer. The two sides cited the depth of bilateral ties, affirming the keenness of both countries on furthering the cooperation in all fields, including the judicial and legal field. Chancellor Al Kuwari said the SJC aspires to benefit from the Turkish Republic's expertise in the judicial fields akin to the Council's relation with its counterparts in the rest of friendly countries in this aspect to reap the benefit to communities and peoples. The Turkish ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Turkish Public Prosecutor Mehmet Akarca and his gratitude to the chancellor for the welcoming reception for the Turkish delegation during his visit last March, affirming the importance of exchange of expertise and mutual visits. The meeting reviewed Turkey's remarkable "Smart Judiciary" experience. The ambassador expressed her delight to represent the Turkish Republic in the Kingdom of Bahrain whose people are remarkably good natured, generous and hospitable. She said she was glad to attend the dialogue session conducted by the Supreme Judiciary Council in association with the Foreign Ministry attended by 42 ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain on latest developments and strategic transformations in Bahrain's Supreme Judiciary Council between 2013 and 2016.
