Information minister meets ASPU Chairman

Manama, Apr. 19 (BNA): Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi received Mohammed Qassim and congratulated him on his election unopposed as Asian Sports Press Union (ASPU) Chairman, wishing him success in his duties. He commended his dedicated efforts to promote media sport, which ranked Bahrain among developed countries in the Asian continent. The minister stressed the importance of cooperation to deliver better services, highlighting the crucial role of sport media amid Bahrain's landmark development strides. He took pride in the young national competences and backed the development efforts led by (ASPU) Chairman, who valued the minister's support, directives and keenness on cooperation.
