Royal Court minister receives Saudi media researcher

Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): The Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today received Saudi media researcher Dr. Eid bin Hamad Al Yahya from the King Abdulaziz National Dialogue Centre who is also presenter and preparer of programme "Ala khuta Al Arab" broadcast on Al Arabiya news channel. The minister welcomed Dr. Al Yahya praising his cultural programme that takes pride in the Arab history and contributes to enlightening the public opinion about the originality and ancientness of this history. The minister hailed the constantly growing and developing close fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields, especially in the media and cultural fields. The minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's ancient history and civilisation, and its special position as a pivotal commercial and maritime hub between East and West, and pioneering model of inter-faiths, cultural and civilisational co-existence and tolerance. The minister also praised the intellectual and academic contributions of Dr. Al Yahya and his books about the Arabian Peninsula, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, moderateness, peace and dialogue, wishing him all success. The Minister of Information Affairs, Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, attended the meeting.
