US State Department's report on Bahrain rapped

Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): The Council of Representatives has expressed dismay at the report of the US State Department on human rights in Bahrain, stressing that contained false and inaccurate information about the human rights situation and freedoms in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Representatives Council deplored the content of the US State Department's biased report, warning of its risks and repercussions which "will, unfortunately, consolidate the role of terrorist and sabotage acts from which many neighbouring countries suffer, and target the security and stability of the country.
It will also contribute to spreading more anarchy through the systematic and organised terrorist acts, and achieve the foreign political agendas aiming to subvert the security and stability of countries across the world, the Council added.
The Council of Representatives reiterated its full-fledged support to all steps taken by the Kingdom's leadership in the human rights and freedoms fields, highlighting the "advanced and honourable" strides made by the kingdom in this regard.
It stressed that the kingdom is keen to transparently and objectively inform the world about its democratic experience, the Reform Project spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the remarkable progress it has made regarding its support to freedoms of expression and opinion at all levels, as well as commitment to the international human rights standards in confronting terrorism and defending the guaranteed human rights and liberties.
