Deputy Premier attends international conference

Riyadh, Apr. 24 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa and Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Khalifa attended an international conference in tribute to the memory of late Prince Saud Al-Faisal. The King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies is organising the event at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre in Riyadh, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. They also attended a dinner banquet which was hosted in honour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Princes, ministers and senior officials are participating in the three-day conference which opened today under the theme "Saud of Nations". The conference features speeches and forums which shed light on the biography and lifetime achievements of late HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal over four decades, as well as his dedicated efforts to serve his country and champion Arab and Islamic causes. Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa will address the conference, recalling his shared memories with the late prince, his distinctive qualities and courageous stances at the meetings of the United Nations, Arab League, the Gulf Cooperation Council and other regional and international conferences.
