Bahraini elected SLA Gulf chairman

Kuwait, Apr. 25 (BNA): The Head of Library Services Section in the National Library Department of Isa Cultural Centre (ICC), Nasser Mohammed, has been elected as chairman to the board of directors of the Arabian Gulf-chapter of the US-based Special Libraries Association (SLA) for two sessions spanning 2016-2018. His election took place during the Association's 22nd annual meeting in the State of Kuwait on April 19-21. Mohammed's election is a new achievement for the ICC which reflects the appreciation of the Kingdom of Bahrain's potentials and the skills of its human resources, according to ICC's CEO and Deputy Board of Trustees Chairman, Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
